Cask Hire

If you are looking for larger volumes of our fantastic ale for events such as Weddings, Birthdays, or even Christmas lunch\dinner, we offer traditional stillage and tap dispense rental. 

 

 

The sizes available are 20 litre pins (around 35 pints) and 40 litre firkins (around 70 pints). 

 

The equipment is provided along with a short tutorial when collecting your beer. This will ensure you are serving the best conditioned real ale. 

 

For the beer to pour clear you will want to have the container in serving position 24 hours in advance.

Cask beer should be served ideally at 10-14 degrees, the shelf life of cask beer is 1 week from opening. 

As our cask are stored in our off-site cellar rather than the taproom, getting in touch in advance is essential! 

 

Enquiries to Taproom@lochleven.beer collection can be made between 10am-10pm, Wednesday to Saturday and 2pm-8pm on Sunday. 

We may be able to accommodate you after 10am other days, just get in touch to ask
